We will be sending newly knitted or crocheted items to the Birmingham division of Hand in Hand for Aid and Development , who in turn will ship your donations to Syria. If you are part of a knitting/crochet group or have just been knitting away yourself, we welcome all donations.

Thank you for helping with our campaign to collect knitted items to send to Syria. Please follow the following guidelines:

• All items should be hand knitted and new and unworn
• Please place them in a sealed bag or box, labelled with details of contents 
• Please ensure contactless delivery or collection, maintaining 2 metre distancing at all times
• Do not enter another person’s home
• Use good hand hygiene after handling any bags or boxes
• Limit travel in accordance with current guidelines  

• Do not collect, deliver or accept items if you are isolating due to symptoms, a positive test, being a close contact of someone with Covid or due to recent travel (https://www.nhsinform.scot/coronavirus)
• Follow FACTS

          Face coverings
          Avoid crowded places
          Clean hands and surfaces 
          Two metre distance
          Self-isolate and book a test if you have
          COVID-19 symptoms
